French clock signed A Blacher paris, dated: ca 1850
The walnut veneered case has ebony pipings and a gilded handle, bezel and ball feet.
The movement is also signed A Blacher.
The Breguet type hands indicate the time on the silver-plated chapter ring.
The movement has a rack striking and strikes every hour on a fine bell.
The going train is regulated with balance-wheel escapement. There is a line to activate the striking.
In the movement you find also an alarm which you can wind up on the front and which you can settle with the long hand.
